Funnel Analytics

Real drop-off from GA4, Firebase or PostHog — not numbers you typed in.

The problem this solves

Your analytics dashboard shows sessions, bounce rate and a live user count. None of it answers the only question you have, which is where the people who were going to buy stopped.

What it does

Connect GA4, Firebase or PostHog and map each funnel stage to a real event. Drop-off per stage is then measured rather than estimated. A setup audit catches the configurations that quietly fake the numbers — the ones that make every user look like a conversion.

What you end up with

The output, not the description. This is what exists in your account after you use it.

  • Per-stage drop-off pulled from your own analytics, joined to the funnel you mapped.
  • An event stream showing which event fired when, so a stage with no data is distinguishable from a stage with no users.
  • A setup audit naming the three configurations that most often invalidate a founder’s numbers.
  • Suggested event mappings, so connecting a funnel does not require knowing the event taxonomy first.

How to use it

  1. 1

Connect the analytics you already run

GA4, Firebase and PostHog all work. Firebase reports into a linked GA4 property, which is why the two are the same connection.

  2. 2

    Map stages to events

Each funnel stage points at an event name. Suggestions are offered from the events you already send.

  3. 3

Run the setup audit before trusting a number

Marking first_open as a key event makes every user a conversion; a login funnel with no success event shows 100% drop-off. Both look like data.
