The 8-step journey
Buyer Persona Wizard
"Developers" is a job title. A persona is a person you can find on a Tuesday.
The problem this solves
Asked who your customer is, you say "developers" or "startups". Both are categories, not customers. You cannot write an email to a category, and you certainly cannot find one to send it to.
What it does
A guided set of questions builds one specific buyer: their job title, what their day looks like, the words they use for the problem, what they have already tried, what they fear, what they would have to justify to a manager, and which three places you could reach them this week. Every field has a formula and a worked example, so a blank box is never the whole instruction.
What you end up with
The output, not the description. This is what exists in your account after you use it.
- One named buyer with a job title, a company size and a budget range.
- Pain points in the customer’s own words, which is what makes copy sound like them rather than like you.
- The objections you will hear, written down before you hear them.
- Three channels where this person can actually be reached, which feed the playbooks and the GTM plan.
How to use it
- 1
Start from research, not imagination
Interviews recorded in step two feed the persona. A persona invented at a desk is a description of you.
- 2
Answer the guided questions
Each one has a formula and a real example from a startup that shipped. Skipping one costs a specific thing, and the page says which.
- 3
Role-play against it
The persona can answer your pitch in character, which is the cheapest way to hear an objection before a real buyer says it.
